REFUND POLICY AND PROCEDURES
Payment in full is a prerequisite for admission to the classes or for delivery of services.
Montreal International Language Centre reserves the right to cancel programs for which there are an insufficient number of students.
Students wishing to withdraw from their program must advise the school in writing. Their written request should be duly signed and dated, and should state the reason(s) for their cancellation. Students will be considered registered program participants for as long as such a written cancellation has not been received. Non-attendance of classes does not justify the refund of fees.
International students, who request a refund because they were unable to obtain a student visa, should provide official documentation of such a refusal by the Canadian authorities, prior to the beginning of classes.
Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy:
The registration fee is non-refundable. In addition, the following amounts will be withheld:
- Prior to the start of the program, 100% of the tuition fees for the first month of registration will be retained.
- After the beginning of the first month and for each subsequent month, College will withhold 100% of the fees for the month during which the cancellation is received.
- A 20% cancellation fee will be applied to the remaining months of the program that the student has registered for.
- An extra $500 non-refundable fee will be applied to Coop Program cancellations. This fee will be applied regardless of visa acceptance or refusal.
In the event that a Canadian student visa is refused, the school will refund all fees, except for the non-refundable registration fee and an administrative fee of $125, but only upon receipt of a copy of the official letter from the Canadian Embassy refusing the visa.
